Sunday moring thoughts with an espresso

Last night I just remember a poem by W. H. Auden and its final lane. I thought a lot about it and I came to the conclution that I agree 100%.

Often we rush through life, thinking about this or that and having to do many things while neglecting or forgetting those who were closest to us. They should be the most important for us. Forget about all the small and large commitments of everyday life. Forget all the tasks we have to do. Forget the goals that we believe to have to finish and reach. Break out of the hunting for recognition. Turn or just stop and think, its not to late.
All that you will realise when you are alone without love. And then when life takes a turn, maybe it might become even more difficult, you will be alone. Fight all these difficulties alone and on your own. Nobody to talk about. Nobody who listen to you at the breakfast table. Nobody who smile at you when you are sad.
Then, what are you doing? Are looking for a break? Want you back all the ones you did previously hurt or just ignore by fallowing your own tasks? What are you want?

Wir müssen lieben oder sterben. Und auch wenn wir lieben, müssen wir irgendwann sterben, ABER lieben wir nicht, sind wir längst tot!

We must love or die, And even if we love, we have to die one day. BUT if we not love, we will be already dead!

And here the Poem

All I have is a voice
To undo the folded lie,
The romantic lie in the brain
Of the sensual man-in-the-street
And the lie of Authority
Whose buildings grope the sky:
There is no such thing as the State
And no one exists alone;
Hunger allows no choice
To the citizen or the police;
We must love one another or die.

W. H. Auden
